Abstract
This article describes a model which helps to recreate the vi-bration-behavior of thin circular-shaped cutting tools influen-ced by ultrasonic vibrations. The model is primarily developed for the conception of circular saw-blades to support the geo-metric adaption for the ultrasonic-assisted-cutting process (UAC) at 20 kHz.
