Chancen und Herausforderungen von Software-Sensoren

Software-Sensoren gewinnen in Produktion und Logistik zunehmend an Bedeutung, da sie komplexe Messaufgaben lösen und Messgrößen vorhandener physikalischer Sensoren fusionieren können. In diesem Beitrag werden daher die Potenziale von Software-Sensoren mittels eines explorativen Vorgehens untersucht und dargestellt. Dabei werden die Gründe für den Einsatz sowie die Herausforderungen von Software-Sensoren aufgezeigt und anschließend diskutiert.

Software sensors are becoming increasingly important in production and logistics, as they can solve complex measurement tasks and can merge measured variables from existing physical sensors. This article analyses and presents the potential for software sensors using an explorative approach. The reasons for using software sensors and the arising challenges are presented and then discussed.
