Synthesis of a New Energetic Diacrylate for Advanced 3D Printing of Propellants

Abstract
The additive manufacturing of energetic formulations is gaining more interest and importance in the field of rocket and gun propellants. Acrylate-based compounds are particularly interesting due to their property of controlled UV-polymerization, which provides highly precise manufacturing of complex geometries with clean surface textures. These characteristics can positively affect the performance and burning rates of propellants.
