Title
Thermal Conductivity of Binary Particle Mixtures
Abstract
Thermite samples with Al and CuO and Al and MnO2 with different mixing ratios, varying filling factors f of the highly conductive component were set and the effective thermal conductivity of the two-component sample was measured. The thermal conductivities increased with increasing filling factor. The behavior of the effective thermal conductivity was described using the Generalized thermal conductivity model (GEM). The model parameters t and fpc can be used to describe the value of the effective thermal conductivity and to make statements about the topology of the samples.
