Title

Low Crosstalk InP-Based Arrayed Waveguide Grating PIC

Abstract
We present a 1000 GHz channel spacing, 0.6 x 1.2 mm2 InP-based arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) monolithically integrated on a photodetector PIC. The AWG is polarization independent with an overall crosstalk below -28 dB. The device is a first step towards fully integrated high-speed photodetectors for LAN-WDM networks.
