Material Properties and Recycling of Nylon 6-based Profiles

In-situ pultrusion of profiles based on nylon 6 is a hot topic due to various advantages such as easy recyclability and functionalization. To demonstrate the competitiveness, a mechanical benchmark study of some common matrices (VE, UP, EP) to thermoplastics (PA6, PMMA) will be shown, together with the demonstration of recycling via shredding, compounding and injection molding.
