UAV-based neutron and gamma detection utilising novel scintillation materials

The detection of radiation is important for the safety of personnel and the assessment of situations that include radiological threats. Research in the field of detection materials and the development of novel scintillators has made possible an improved detection capability for airborne radiation surveillance due to the simultaneous detection of neutron and gamma radiation.
