Title

Fighting Fake News Propagation Using Blockchain in Journalism: A Systematic Literature Review

Abstract
The challenge facing journalism these days in the Internet environment is greater than ever. The public no longer believes in traditional media in light of fake news and infected news. This is possibly due to the emergence of many diverse sources of conflicting information via social media. The central intention of this article is to present a review of previously conducted studies related to the use of the blockchain to fight against the proliferation of fake news to acquire knowledge on the results obtained in this context. The literature review includes articles published between 2017 and 2021. This review shows that despite the published research opportunities, there is not a standard deployable framework in the journalism ecosystem.
