Procedure to Determine the Stability of H2O2/Water/ADN/AN System using multivariate Methods (PLSR, DOE, PCA)

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), Water (H2O), Ammoniumdinitramid (ADN) Ammoniumnitrat (AN) system was investigated with Raman spectroscopy. 24 samples were prepared according to a special cubic I-optimal mixture design of experiment. The samples were measured 10 times with varying time intervals over 122 days and a partial least square regression (PLSR) models for each of the concentration of the four components (H2O2, H2O, ADN, AN) was built based on the first Raman measurement. It turned out that the prediction model provided stable and reliable prediction values for all 10 measurements. The 10 measurements were then also examined for degradation reactions and products.
