Title

Efficient Direct Signal Cancellation for FM-based Passive Radar

Abstract
The performance of an FM-based passive radar sensor is highly dependant on the level of suppression of direct signal interference. In this paper, we compare the performance of a selection of suppression algorithms in terms of detection performance and processing time. We show that the ECA-CD algorithm, even though originally designed for OFDM signals, can be applied to FM signals and that it performs well while being very computationally efficient.
