Title

Multipath Effect on Radar Cross Section Measurements in Natural Environment and Related Correction

Abstract
Preliminary results regarding the multipath analysis due to the land surface (grassland and sweet corn) are shown using a X-band radar. The evaluations are based on the measured Radar Cross Section (RCS) variations of a calibrated target taken during the NATO SET-225 trials (June 2018) at the Fraunhofer Institute FHR outpost in Wachtberg (Germany). Finally, a procedure is proposed to correct the multipath effect.
