Title

A holistic concept for coating monitoring and maintenance on offshore wind power constructions

Abstract
The presentation is concerned with a nationally funded R&D project " RepaKorr ". This project involves the development and implementation of an integral concept for the condition monitoring and maintenance of coatings in the atmospheric, splash water and tidal zone of offshore wind power constructions. The paper starts with a description of the general concept and the corresponding working steps, namely inspection with aerial devices; data acquisition and processing; condition assessment and damage classification; resulting maintenance procedure; surface preparation; application of a repair coating system; testing and certification of the repair system; quality control and documentation. Particular attention will be spent on the first experience with the application of the aerial inspection device, the damage reporting system, the development of the repair coating system and the modified OWEA testing scenario for qualification.
