Process analysis and optimization of current AM technologies on the example of laser sintering

Abstract
Manual operations are currently characterizing support processes of Additive Manufacturing technologies like unpacking, cleaning and finishing. These post processes offer potentials to increase productivity by automating the material flow between them and the processes itself. This paper focuses on the identification and analysis of these potentials in the process chain using the example of Selective Laser Sintering.
