3D-face reconstruction using stereo from images combined with a statistical face model

In this paper we would like to introduce a new approach for 3Dreconstruction of human faces. Our method is based on a combination of two techniques : shape reconstruction from multiple 2-dimensional images and shape modelling using flexible 3-dimensional statistical models. We show how the two approaches are combined and present some reconstruction results.
