Title

160 Gbit/s optical sampling by a novel ultra-broadband switch based on four-wave mixing in a semiconductor optical amplifier

Abstract
We demonstrate 160 Gbit/s all-optical sampling by a compact, ultra-broadband, and low noise switch based on four-wave mixing. The switch combines high contrast (>25 dB), high linearity (>20 dB), and high temporal resolution (1.7 ps).
