Title

Sensorgeführte 3D-Laserbearbeitung

Other Title
Sensor guided 3D laser treatment
Abstract
3D cutting, welding of surface treatment by means of laser requires high accuracy in the positioning of the focused resp. formed laser beam. Essential geometric data includes the component's profile, the focal distance and the laser beam's angle of impact. As a general rule, this involves much programming effort and often additional correcting effort for each component. This paper is to present an industrially viable solution for CNC-controlled laser portal systems in order to minimize this effort, and to illustrate this solution with the help of a number of examples. This system is based on a fast determination of the position coordinates and surface normes, on linking these measured valued with the appertaining axial values, and on generating NC records in CNC. This provides for two possible operating modes, viz. geometry capturing and profile tracking
