Title

Wavelength manager covering the EDFA-band and capable of controlling hundreds of transmitters

Abstract
A wavelength manager has been developed for the BBC demonstrator of the RACE project R2065 with an observation range of more than 40 nm and a resolution of better than 1.5 GHz. The absolute frequency accuracy was measured to be better than +or-2.5 GHz between 1525 nm and 1565 nm.
