Leitbilder der Umweltpolitik im Hinblick auf Sustainable Development

The paper describes that new technologies had an effect on reducing emissions in the past and that additional effects will be likely in the future. However, in order to reach a sustainable development additional key strategies are necessary. These are a closed circulation economy, an exalogical design of products, an internalization of external costs and measures to alleviate the obstacles towards environmental benign products and production processes.
