Turbo-ISVAS - An interactive visualization system for 3D finite element data

Abstract
Turbo-ISVAS is a system for interactive visualization of the results from finite element simulations. The interactions are implemented with a virtual trackball controller, which allows a very natural user interface for the 3D geometric operations with the mouse. The functionality of the system includes rotation, translation and scaling of the objects in 3D and cutting the object by arbitrary planar surfaces. Running on a graphics workstation with hardware-supported rendering the system offers real-time interactive analysis of the data.
