Methods and apparatuses for joint update of transmission and reception settings in a wireless communication system

The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses for a joint update of Tx-settings and Rx- settings at a UE (400). The method performed by the UE comprises: receiving (301) via a DCI, or MAC-CE, a TCI-state, and at least one PUCCH-SpatialRelationlnfo configuration indication, wherein the indicated TCI-state configuration comprises an DL RS ID with at least one QCL, reference and the indicated PUCCH, or receiving (301) from the gNB via a DCI, or via a MAC-CE, a TCI-state configuration indication, wherein the indicated TCI-state configuration comprises an DL RS ID with at least one QCL reference and an ID of at least one PUCCH-SpatialRelationlnfo configuration; applying (302) information in said at least one QCL reference associated to at least a PDSCH, or a CORESET, and applying (303) said at least one PUCCH-SpatialRelationlnfo configuration to at least one PUCCH resource configured for transmission in uplink, UL to said gNB.
