Electrotechnical cast coil, method for producing such a coil and electric machines using such coils

The method involves coating a rigid coil material with an insulation layer for electrical insulation of winding and providing a coil geometry containing a permanent mold form using CAD. The coil material i.e. electrical conductive metal, is cast in liquid form and poured into the form with pressure support for forming winding. Casting is cleaned and deflasked. The coil material is solidified under controlled conditions. The coil material is pressed into the geometry.
