Abstract
(B3) Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Gasverteiler fuer eine Polymerelektrolytbrennstoffzelle, der mindestens eine, in der Regel eine Mehrzahl von durchgaengig durch den Gasverteiler angeordneten Kapillaren aufweist, die der passiven Abfuehrung von beim Betrieb der Polymerelektrolytbrennstoffzelle entstehendem Wasser durch Kapillarkraefte dienen. Ebenso betrifft die vorliegende Erfindung eine Polymerelektrolytbrennstoffzelle, die einen derartigen Gasverteiler aufweist.

DE 102009040786 B3 UPAB: 20110127 NOVELTY - The gas distributor (1) has a channel (3) for supplying and discharging fluid embedded in side of a basic structure (2), where the gas distributor is formed as a bipolar plate. A capillary tube (4) continuously connects one side of the basic structure with an opposite side of the basic structure. The capillary tube continuously connects the channel with the opposite side of the basic structure, where cross section of the capillary tube has a diameter ranging between 0.1 mm and 1 mm. The capillary tube is arranged in a boundary area of a channel bottom. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a polymer electrolyte fuel cell comprising a proton-conductive membrane. USE - Gas distributor for use in a polymer electrolyte fuel cell i.e. planar fuel cell (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The gas distributor achieves low pressure drop during discharge of water and provides effective water discharge.
