Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brandschutzklappe fuer Stroemungskanaele, mit mindestens einem Klappenblatt (2), welches in geoeffnetem Zustand der Brandschutzklappe im Wesentlichen parallel zur Stroemungsrichtung im Stroemungskanal angeordnet ist, welches sich dadurch auszeichnet, dass in Stroemungsrichtung vor und/oder hinter dem mindestens einen Klappenblatt (2) ein Stroemungsprofil (3) angeordnet ist, welches geeignet ist, den Stroemungswiderstand und/oder die Schallentwicklung der geoeffneten Brandschutzklappe zu senken.
