Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Duennschichtsystems

Dieses Verfahren betrifft die Herstellung eines Duennschichtsystems, welches mindestens eine extrem duenne Schicht, vorzugsweise im Schichtdickenbereich von 1 bis 10 nm, enthaelt, die durch plasmagestuetzte chemische oder physikalische Dampfphasenabscheidung unter Verwendung von Magnetronentladungen abgeschieden wird. Gekennzeichnet wird es dadurch, dass bei der Abscheidung dieser extrem duennen Schicht die Leistung in das Plasma in Form einer kontrollierten Anzahl von Leistungspulsen zugefuehrt wird und dass die mittlere Leistung waehrend der Puls-Ein-Zeit mindestens um den Faktor 3 hoeher als die ueber die gesamte Beschichtungszeit waehrend der Abscheidung der extrem duennen Schicht gemittelte Leistung eingestellt wird.
