Abstract
Es wird ein Verfahren zur Bildung von Epithelzellen beschrieben, umfassend eine Aggregation von Stammzellen aus exokrinem differenzierten Druesengewebe zu einem organoiden Koerper, und ein Differenzieren zumindest eines Teils des organoiden Koerpers oder eines daraus gewachsenen Gewebekoerpers zu Epithelzellen. Es wird auch eine Kultivierungseinrichtung, insbesondere zur Bildung von differenzierten Epithelzellen, beschrieben.

WO2005097974 A UPAB: 20051109 NOVELTY - Forming epithelial cells (EC) comprises aggregating stem cells (SC) from exocrine, differentiated glandular tissue to organoid bodies (OB) and differentiating at least part of OB, or tissue bodies grown from them, to EC. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) cell composition (A), containing EC, formed by the new method; and (2) culture device, especially for forming differentiated EC. ACTIVITY - None given. MECHANISM OF ACTION - Cell Therapy; Stem Cell Therapy. USE - Cell compositions that contain EC, prepared by the new method, are useful as autologous pharmaceuticals; transplants and/or materials for tissue engineering; also EC can be used for synthesis of live tissue (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method produces EC without the need either for embryonic stem cell or recovery of EC from basal layers. Cell compositions can be produced with less effort and have a very wide range of applications. The starting material can be isolated, e.g. from salivary glands, of a live donor without great stress, so autologous material is readily available. 1
