Title

Voraussage und Optimierung dissipativ bedingter Werkzeugerwärmung

Abstract
With increased complexity, high production volumes and high quality standards, zero failure production is required at the same time. The process-related temperature, which is generated by plastic forming of the material and also by friction has an important and known influence on robust production. Especially in the start-up and restart pahse of deep-drawing processes, temperature related disruptions to optimized production processes can occur. Even a temperature difference of less than 10 Kelvin can lead to wrinkles and thus to waste [KER11]. During the production process, it is important that a homogeneous temperature field is established in the tool. Large temperature differences should be avoided. Too low a temperature causes wrinkles and a too high stationary temperature field leads to cracks [BÖH13]. In hot forming, on the one hand, technical forming limits can be shifted by increasing the ductility of the material, on the other hand, decreasing yield stresses enable the forming work to be reduced [NEU06, NEU09, SAB07]. In he field of sheet metal forming, it was not common for a long time to carry out forming with heated workpieces. The use of lightweight materials such as magnesium, aluminum, titanium and manganese-boron steels has made new manufacturing concepts necessary, taking the temperature as processes parameter into account [GEI06].
