Technology foresight in support of long-term R&T planning

For the Federal Ministry of Defence (FMoD) and the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (FOBwEITISS), the Fraunhofer Institute for Technological Trend Analysis (Fraunhofer INT) conducts technology foresight on long-term technological developments and trends, which are identified, analysed and assessed continuously with regard to their potential future defence-technological and military relevance. Through its analyses, Fraunhofer INT contributes to the planning of long-term defence R&T.
