Ethical, legal and socio-economic topics in Europe

Innovative technologies such as machine learning make robotic systems more intelligent and efficient. This can raise new issues with regard to legal, ethical and socio-economic factors. The European Parliament has joined this debate in recent months and published a resolution with proposals on the use of robots in February 2017. The response has been mixed. euRobotics as a European association for all stakeholders in European robotics in cooperation with Fraunhofer IPA formulated concerns.
