Procedures. Core Theme 4

To help EU Member States to implement the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), the European Commission launched the Concerted Action (CA) to promote dialogue and exchange of best practice. This document presents the outcomes of the CA EPBD for the period 2007-2010. Over this course of time, meetings, plenary sessions and technical sessions were organized to facilitate the comprehension of specific issues relating to one or more of the 5 core themes (CT) (1 Certification procedures, 2 Inspection of boilers and air-conditioning systems, 3 Specifications and training requirements for experts and inspectors, 4 Methods and procedural aspects for energy performance characterisation, 5 Information campaigns). The main outcomes of the sessions revolving around procedures have been detailed in this report.
