Die richtige Materialauswahl ist gerade bei Flachdachkonstruktionen entscheidend, um ein dauerhaft dichtes Dach sowie entsprechende bauphysikalische Anforderungen wie Wärme-, Schall- und Brandschutz schadenfrei zu gewährleisten. So vielfältig die Möglichkeiten der konstruktiven Gestaltung der Flachdächer sind, so groß ist auch die Auswahl an Werkstoffen. Nicht alle sind jedoch für jede Konstruktion oder für jeden Einsatzzweck gleichermaßen geeignet.
