Intelligente Förderstrecken und Fahrzeuge helfen einem Paket, sein Ziel schnellstmöglich zu erreichen. Dieser Artikel beschreibt die Bausteine des Internet der Dinge und deren dezentrale Betriebsstrategien. Zum Abschluss wird die Architektur und Software eines industrietauglichen Demonstrators beschrieben.

Like the internet, facility logistics systems of the future will require no central control computer. With the help of intelligent conveyors and automated vehicles, bins, trays, and packets autonomously find the way to their destination. This article describes the building blocks of the Internet of Things and their decentralized control strategies. Further, we present the architecture and software of a demonstrator suiting industrial needs.
