A study of the Al-Mg-B ternary phase diagram

The Al(x)Mg(1-x)B2 solid solution was studied at temperatures of 900, 1000, 1200 and 1400 C using X-ray diffraction. From the obtained data, isothermal sections at 1000, 1200 and 1400 deg C have been proposed for the Al-Mg-B ternary system.
