Wertorientierte Steuerung des betrieblichen Gesundheits-Managements mittels Balanced Scorecard

Betriebliches Gesundheitsmanagement (BGM) occupational health management is directed at preventing health risks at work, promoting health resources and improving the welfare of employees. In addition to fulfilling legal requirements, this should also make a contribution toward occupational value creation and value addition. So far there has been a lack valid assessment standards and practical control instrument for the dedicated control of BGM measures. These would assist the prioritisation and evaluation of BGM measures. The article presents the conception and the application possibilities of a general model for the control and assessment of BGM measures. For this purpose, the basic principles of contemporary health management will first be described. This will be followed by a description of how to control these measures with the aid of the Strategy Map as one of the central components of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) concept.
