Diodenlasersystem mit verstellbarer Leistungsdichteverteilung

This paper reports the main results of a research project dealing with the development of a new diode laser system whose intensity distribution can be controlled spatially resolved. In the first part the system concept as well as the setup of the diode laser modules and the pyrometers for temperature measurement are explained. In the second part applications of this diode laser system in the field of polymer welding and surface hardening are demonstrated.
