Die Arbeitswirtschaft als Gesamtheit aller Maßnahmen zur ökonomische Einsatz des Produktionsfaktors Arbeit spielt eine unverzichtbare Rolle im modernen Industriebetrieb. In neuer Gestalt kann sie alte und neue Aufgaben erfüllen. Both research institutions and industry agree on the necessity to tread new paths in industrial engineering as a means to organise operations procedures. This article is concerned with the question where these new paths will lead. The intention is to intensify and spread a discussion which has already been started in many places.
