Prozeßmodelle als Grundlage für ein systematisches Management von Geschäftsprozessen

Business process management and workflow management are two approaches aiming at a process-centered organization of business enterprises as well as at process-centered information system for these enterprises. In this paper we discuss the relation between business process management and workflow management and we point out the central role of process models in both approaches. Furthermore we discuss some requirements on process models for capturing real world business processes.
