Mechanisch-technologische Eigenschaften von Spanplatten aus Lärchenkern- und -splintholz
Abstract
The properties of particleboards from heart- and sapwood of larch bonded with a binder based on diisocyanate (PMDI) were evaluted. The results can be summarized as follows: Boards made from heartwood are always of lower thickness swelling than sapwood boards. The internal bond strength of the boards decreases with the age of the tree. Especially the V100-value is very low for heartwood boards from 102-year-old trees.
