Sensorsystem zur automatischen Prüfung des Füllgutes in unversiegelten Tiefziehstreifen

Systems for the automatic checking of pharmaceutical products in blister packs have been in operation for some years. The authors report on a sensor system they developed together which was mounted on a batch-processing thermoform machine. The sensor system is being used successfully to check that the packs are accurately filled with coated tablets of different colours and dimensions (5,7 - 6,8 mm diameter and 4,8 - 4,1 mm thickness, 90 - 140 mg weight). The system detects faults as missing tablets, broken tablets, skratches on the tablets, colourinterchanges and missing tablet print.
