Multi sensor signal processing ASIC with CAN bus interface

In this paper a flexible on-chip multi-sensor signal processing ASIC is proposed supporting a straightforward and economic configuration of smart microsystems. This ASIC admits the data transfer of a lot of sensors to a field bus. A sophisticated signal processing is supported when a TMS320C50 is applied. The concept of assembling strictly separated cores of functional elements guarantees a wide range of applications.
