Title

Grid-point generation from contour images

Abstract
For Digital Elevation (DEM) generation, effective representation of the relationship between a required grid point and adjancent contours and the inter-relationship among these contours is necessary. The representation is also helpful for many other applications involving the conversation of contour images with different relationship definitions. In this paper, we have employed three different kinds of data structure to meet these requirements. We also explore their practability, accuracy, time complexity and storage, respectively, to develop a more intuitive, fast accessible and highly accurate generalized data model.
