Holonic Task Generation for Mobile Robots
Abstract
Intelligent Manufacturing Systems (IMS) are a focus of recent research and development. New very promising concepts are currently developed in the international project Holonic Manufacturing Systems (HMS). In this context, intelligent holonic material flow systems, especially mobile transport robots or Holonic Automated guided Vehicles (H-AGV), play an important role. In this paper a proposal for a holonic concept of derived task generation for H-AGVs based on technical Multi-Agent Systems (MAS) is made. H-AGVs are part of the HMS-Work Package HOLOMOBILES.
