Prozessregelung beim Hot-Metal-Gasforming - Berührungslose Temperaturmessung ermöglicht Blick ins geschlossene Werkzeug

Abstract
Scientists at the Fraunhofer IWU Chemnitz work on innovative forming technologies. Examples are the tempered hydroforming and in particular the press hardening of tubes and profiles during the hydroforming process. During this process the capture of parameters like the surface temperature of the part is important. These temperatures can be measured inside the closed tool with a new technique. The basis is a fully integrated infrared sensor which captures surface temperatures of tool and part contactless during the forming process. This allows an intelligent process control which results in an increasing process and part quality.
