Title

A serious game to introduce Systems Engineering in interdisciplinary teams

Abstract
This paper presents a serious game that supports the awareness and introduction of Systems Engineering (SE) in interdisciplinary development teams. First, an overview and analysis of existing serious games is provided, along with a justification for the necessity of a new serious game. Second, based on a serious game development framework, the different elements of the serious game called BBiQ are explained, such as learning objectives, game mechanics and content. Finally, the evaluation results of the serious game are shared. The evaluation shows that participants are motivated to learn more about SE when using the game as a starting point of SE introduction.
