DESIRe Animations-Handbuch
Abstract
This manual describes how to use the renderer DESIRe Version 1.0 It shows how the different kinds of input are comprised to form animation sequences. The basic principles, e.g. what is a geometrid object, how can it be parameterized, are explained. The different rendering parameters are explained and examples for different parameters are given. Besides geometric objects, it is described how to deal with textures are spatial variances or rendering parameters are explained and their assignment to geometric objects is shown. Furthermore, the display devices and the corresponding handling routines supported by DESIRe are listed. The difference between physical and virtual displays (using CFB-files) are introduced. Additionally, the basic working principles of different rendering algorithms are explained in detail.
