Abstract
The authors introduced a design- and control concept of compliant machine tool frames for micro milling machines. It utilizes a Kalman-filter for the estimation of the dynamic dislocation [1]. This paper begins with a brief explanation of this concept (Section 1). In Section 2, easy-to-implement system identification techniques for the evaluation of structural damping, machine tool structure's eigenfrequencies, guidance system's friction and electromagnetical ripple force of a linear direct drive are evaluated experimentally. Section 3 introduces a three-axes teststand and shows experimental results of the dislocation estimation.

Ein Design-Konzept für Werkzeugmaschinengestelle wird vorgestellt, bei dem vergleichsweise nachgiebige Maschinengestelle realisiert werden können, da die Verlagerungen steuerungstechnisch mit einem Kalmanfilter kompensiert werden.
