Title

Teconomagnetic field variations in an aseismic region with recent tectonics

Abstract
At three profiles in the southern part of the GDR, exact magnetic measurements have been carried out since 1978. The data show the possibility to prove the existence of magnetic fields which are obviously due to piezomagnetic processes in the uppermost part of the crust. The amplitudes of these effects are in general between 2-4 nTyr-1. In order to minimize the reduction errors, differences between the values of the profiles and a neighbouring reference point have been calculated.
