Temperaturbestimmung beim Abbrand von Oktogen in einer optischen Bombe durch Analyse der auftretenden CN- und NH-Spektren
Determination of temperature by high pressure combustion of octogen and analysis of NC and NR spectra
In an optical bomb Octogen has been burnt under various pressures and the intensity distribution was measured with a spectrometer system. The detected CN- and NH-Spectra were then compared with calculated spectra. Under the assumption of a thermal equilibrium a temperature can be related to an intensity distribution. With a least-squares-fit routine calculated spectra were then fitted to the experimental spectra. The resulting temperatures are 2600 K by analysis with CN-Spectra and 2500 K with NH- Spectra. For comparison the adiabatic flame temperature of Octogen is 2900 K.
