Title

The accuracy of hydraulically driven struts for production machines

Abstract
Hydraulic struts in parallel kinematics for production machines can be used to particular advantage if the job is creating large machining forces with sufficient load rigidity. However, it is necessary to sufficiently analyze the electrohydraulic drive structure by providing suitable models to ensure that the struts have the characteristics required for these applications. This article presents the model structure while providing an overview on requirements and structures of hydraulic struts with special emphasis on the non-linearities of the line and ways of compensating for it. It concluded with a presentation of one hexapod built with hydraulic struts.
