CIM - Integration von Netzleitinformationen in EVU-Netzen.

Integration of information has become an important factor in power utilities for control, planning and administration of electrical networks. In this paper a system is described to fulfill these requirements. It is based on a central computer system linking the heterogeneous hosts in a wide area network. The system has two main functions. It provides a transparent transport system for data flow between the hosts and a central database for actual data of the electrical network supporting integrated data acquisition and access of the hosts. The realized system can be regarded as an approach in the sense of the CIM concept (Computer Integrated Manufacturing). (IITB)
