Use of Semantic Artefacts in Agricultural Data-Driven Service Development

The paper is a survey of the resources and efforts in the field of semantic interoperability in the agricultural domain, and describes challenges and solutions for building federated digital agricultural integration platforms that provide service components based on shared and reused data. It also shows the state of the art of public semantic artefacts and their potential contribution to solving semantic interoperability within digital agricultural integration platforms by combining their main standards into common agricultural information models that can be used by developers and fit a wide range of agricultural use cases.
